This carefully designed refurbishment and extension project included reuse of some existing items that were being relocated. The new kitchen is lit by a new rooflight. We specified everything to a high degree and the project went smoothly. Some of the stained glass windows were existing single glazed that were backed with double glazing to improve energy efficiency. Some of the doors and windows were rearranged to improve the circulation

This house is set within the Conservation Area. It is a brick built Victorian semidetached property. The design was developed with the use of spaces, the provision of daylight and the flow of circulation in mind. The brief to attract light into the interior was a key part of the design. The project involved a whole house refurbishment. We provided detail design services including energy saving insulation measures throughout.

The propriety is a detached bungalow of brick construction with areas of old render. The proposal is for a new facing wall proposed to be built on the front of the building and an insulated jacket of high performance render to be wrapped around the building which is to be wholly remodelled. The works comprise the design and construction of accommodation for 41 homeless people. The scheme was designed to be constructed in a sustainable manner using products and processes that reduce environmental impact, better adapt to climate change, with lower running costs, and incorporating features that enhance the health and well-being of constructors, occupiers and the wider community.

This house, built we understand, in 1871, is set within a Conservation Area, and it is Grade II listed (included for group value according to listing made in 1987). The property is located within a set of 6 terraced cottages, all red brick with step pitched roofs, with a rear catslide roof. The reason for work to be done to the property was primarily to add a painting studio space
