This house belonging to a young family, is set within a Conservation Area. The design included a single storey extension, a revised ground floor plan, and a loft conversion with a wetroom shower room. The stair to the loft is very tiny in line with the client’s wish to avoid affecting other rooms. However it actually achieved building control approval.
The new room at the rear has large sliding folding doors to a new patio, and the room itself is now the lightest and most spacious room in the property. It now has a wood burning glass fronted fire, which was inserted into the existing chimney.
