Minimalist Addition to a House

We are delighted our clients have recently received planning permission for this minimalist addition to a house within the Conservation area in St Albans. The addition will have a glazed element to the roof, which will cover the open plan living space.
The Planners commented in their report, on the light airy nature of the design.
The patio will be stonework, the levels of this were altered several times to try to ensure there would be no objections from anyone concerned. Large glass insulated doors, which open to the garden, will be designed to ease the transition from inside to out. The threshold will be kept low. Modern design of garden trellis is part of our scheme.
The photo below indicates the type of interior that could be created, once the work has been taken forward.
